Youth Leadership and the Enneagram
How Understanding Team Personalities Saved the Project and the Kingdom
News
We are proud to announce that Jane Tight was awarded the designation of Master Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation. In addition to an extensive application process, Jane had to document nearly 3000 hours of coaching. In the growing coaching profession, there are many who call themselves coaches, but very few who have committed to the training, supervision, hours and ethical code of the MCC. We believe it makes a difference and so do our clients.
Jane Tight is now seated on the Advisory Board for American River Venture, a venture capital firm in Sacramento, California. ARV focuses on investing in new technologies that provide a platform for energy sustainability in industrial and manufacturing environments.
Joni Minault continues to volunteer for Stanford University's Graduate School of Business (GSB) Alumni Consulting Teams (ACT), who offer pro bono consulting services to non profit organizations. Her most recent project was for the Center for Leadership Development & Research. And she recently moderated a panel discussion at the GSB for incoming ACT volunteers. And she has also facilitated an in-depth "Vision and Values" process for a local homeowners association to determine the relevance and appropriateness of its CC&Rs.
Upcoming Events
Enneagram Workshop at the Beyond the Bench Conference
Jane has been invited to repeat a workshop offered in 2006 on the Enneagram at the Beyond the Bench conference in September 2010. This conference attracts close to 400 attendees who work in the Juvenile Dependency court in Santa Clara County: judges, attorneys, advocates and social workers. This year’s conference title is “Parents, Kids and Us.”
Five: Where Will You be Five Years from Today?
Jane has developed a workshop offering called: FIVE, Where Will You be Five Years from Today? based on the book of the same name published by Compendium, 2009. This is a one-day interactive and personal journey about assessing and appreciating how you got to today; wildly brainstorming what is possible for the future; and collaging a vision for the next five years starting NOW. This workshop has been offered to groups of women and adapted to work in organizations with teams. The FIVE workshop is now being offered by trained coaches in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Santa Barbara, CA, Bend, OR and Denmark. Another series will be held in Woodside, CA in late autumn and winter 2010-11.
